Alliances

With all the chaotic events happening in the Middle East, from the Arab Spring to the war in Syria, something as I would refer to as a positive change arise a few days ago. Egypt and Turkey came together to support one another; trying to build a friendship between the two countries in this time of need. Turkey has been afflicted as the war in Syria has become worst, while as we all know Egypt’s economy is in major trouble. The two countries actually benefits one another according to Tim Arango of New York Time:

“As a result, each country seems to need the other in an alliance that could shape the region for decades to come and help it emerge from the tumult of Arab revolutions.”
Turkey not only tries to build alliance with Egypt, but it also try to find solutions to find peace within Syria with Iran. A few days ago, the prime minister of Turkey and the Iranian president had a meeting regarding the possible “peace process” of Syria. They came up with different plans to bring the proposal into work.

I believe this is a good step into solving the war in Syria, or any other current events going on in the Middle East. The first step into finding peace is for all the countries to work hand in hand as one, to be united to find peace within the Middle East. Hopefully, Turkey, Iran, and Egypt can set an example to the rest of the Middle East, that peace does exist.
